Salut à tous

Nous sommes revenus de la mission à Dakhla, Maroc. Pendant la clinique nous avons reçu 2 645 patients et avons reçu au-delà de 1,000 étudiants. Merci à tous les participants pour leur beau travail d’équipe qui nous a permis de rendre ce service aux gens. Nous formons la prochaine équipe pour la mission du Mexique au mois de novembre. Départ le 16 avec quelques jours de repos prévus à Puerto Vallarta après. Déjà nous avons reçu les premières inscriptions. Cette année, la mission aura lieu à Mazamitla. Nous cherchons encore 2-3 optométristes pour la mission en Roumanie, départ le 3 mai.

Hello everyone

We are back from the mission to Dakhla, Morocco. During the clinic, we received 2,645 patients plus we triaged over 1,000 students in the schools. A special thank you to the team who enabled us to receive all the patients. We have begun to form the team for mission to Mazamitla, Mexico. Departure Nov. 16^th, with a few days rest after in Puerto Vallarta. We have already begun to receive registration froms for the mission. We are still looking for 2-3 ODs for Romania, departure May 3^rd.

Nous partons en mission vendredi le 14 février pour Dakhla, tout au sud du Maroc. Pendant notre absence, il y aura une clinique seulement le lundi 17 février au 9250 Meilleur à 19h.

Mission au Mexique: nous partirons le 16 novembre pour Mazamitla dans les montagnes près de Ciudad Guzman. Le retour se fera de Puerto Vallarta vers le 2 décembre après quelques jours au chaud. Quatre optométristes ont déjà indiqué leur intérêt, ainsi que des étudiants de Chicago et d’Australie. Pour plus d’information, communiquez avec nous.

Hello everyone,

We are leaving Friday February 14^th for mission to Dakhla, south of Morocco. While we are away, there will be only a clinic on Monday February 17^th at 7 pm at 9250 Meilleur.

Mission to Mexico: we will be leaving November 16^th for Mazamitla, in the mountains near Ciudad Guzman. The return will be around December 2^nd, after a few warm days in Puerto Vallarta. Four ODs already indicated their interest, as well as students from Chicago and Australia. For more info, get in touch.

Avec les vacances qui se terminent, nous reprenons les cliniques:

Pour ceux allant au Maroc, vos bagages sont prêts à être ramassés.

Il nous manque des optométristes pour la Roumanie et des bénévoles pour le Pérou.

Nous allons de l’avant avec l’achat des billets d’avion pour la Roumanie et le Pérou. Mais nous n’attendrons pas pour ceux et celles qui tardent à s’inscrire puisque nous voulons profiter des ventes de billets. Ceux et celles qui tardent risquent de payer plus cher.

Dernier rappel pour ceux et celles qui attendent des reçus d’impôts, vous avez jusqu’au 7 janvier pour faire parvenir votre changement d’adresse, s’il y a lieu.

With the holidays coming to a end, clinics are back:

For those going to Morocco, your luggage is ready to be picked up.

We are short of ODs for Romania and we have some places for volunteers for Peru.

We are going ahead with the purchase of airplane tickets for Romania and Peru. We will not wait for those who wait to register late. They risk paying more, since the tickets go up in price.

Reminder to those expecting income tax receipts, you have until January 7^th  to let us know if your address changed and if so, to send us your new address.

Quelques mots pour vous souhaiter un joyeux temps des fêtes et vous remercier de tout le beau travail pendant l’année au service des pauvres. Grâce à votre collaboration, 13 200 personnes ont profité de votre travail et retrouvent une meilleure qualité de vie. Nous avons aussi envoyé 73 900 lunettes à être distribuées par d’autres groupes, en plus de        8 000 montures neuves et 3 000 étuis qui ont été envoyés à des cliniques permanentes en Haïti et au Guatemala. Merci

A few words to wish you happy holidays. As well, I want to thank you for you good work during the year helping those more unfortunate than us. Thanks to your cooperation, over 13,200 patients benefited from your commitment and regained a better quality of life. As well we sent 73,900 glasses to be distributed by other groups as well 8,000 new frames and 3,000 cases for permanent clinics in Haiti and Guatemala. Thank You
